Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma from a two-year college.
• Minimum of three years of AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience working with Construction Drawings and Industrial P&ID Drawings.
• Understanding of Piping Materials, Schedules, Connection Types, Pipe Supports.
• Thorough knowledge of process piping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create constructable 3D models based off P&ID’s and other Engineering Documents.
• Generate Construction Documents, Fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials.
• Create stratus packages and spools to support fabrication workflows.
• Build and manage Navisworks/project files to support coordination and clash detection.
• Actively increase knowledge base of construction methods and detailing standards to improve professional abilities.
• Perform all core VDC Technician responsibilities with a higher level of proficiency, independence, and leadership.
