Job summary

Tessiers Mechanical Contractors, an APi Group company, is seeking a BIM Coordinator/VDC Technician to join our Midwest team in Sioux Falls. The role focuses on improving constructability of mechanical and plumbing designs by modeling and coordinating systems from project documents.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BIM, strong Revit/Navisworks skills, and the ability to lead coordination meetings with field and fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM coordination experience on mechanical or plumbing projects.
• Proficient in Revit and Navisworks for model coordination.
• Experience editing intermediate families in Revit.
• Familiar with Autodesk Forma (formerly ACC).
• Strong communication and coordination with field and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical and plumbing docs to create accurate construction models.
• Coordinate systems and fabrications using Revit/Navis, ensuring clash-free designs.
• Produce field installation drawings and reports for field and fabrication teams.
• Maintain close communication with field teams, fabrication team, and project managers.
• Lead mechanical and plumbing teams in project coordination meetings.
• Set up projects in Revit and perform intermediate family editing.
• Assist with making design or field decisions and documenting changes.
