Job summary

Rogers-O'Brien Construction is seeking a VDC Project Manager to lead BIM content efforts and drive innovation within the VDC department. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, detail orientation, and align with RO's core values.

The role involves coordinating 3D BIM workflows, supporting project teams, and mentoring VDC staff. A background in AEC or CS and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Computer Science.
• 2–5 years of field or VDC experience.
• General knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Executing high quality BIM content for the VDC Department, project teams and other support departments.
• Manage project 3D spatial coordination including BIM schedule, scope and supporting files/models.
• Provide support for VDC staff on all BIM enabled projects.
• Adhere to implemented processes but also assist in improving VDC workflows.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings, goals and objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends in VDC techniques and procedures.
• Continually improve skills of management, communication and creativity.
• Mentoring VDC Specialists and project team members.
• Support VDC department initiatives and objects/key results.
