Job summary

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to travel to builders’ offices and job sites, possibly on short notice.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Represent Nucor Buildings Group on integrated-design projects requiring BIM or VDC coordination.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and trade partners; revise the model after meetings.
• Review models to identify clashes, constructability concerns, and missing information across architectural, structural, and trade disciplines.
• Create, review, coordinate, and manage project models using Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, and related platforms.
• Communicate project requirements, design decisions, risks, and actions to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Detailing, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Services.
• Support design-assist, value-engineering, constructability, estimating, and preconstruction activities.
• Help transition coordinated projects from preconstruction into engineering, detailing, fabrication, and construction.
• Develop and improve BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices for Preconstruction Services.
• Travel periodically for customer meetings, coordination sessions, project reviews, and site visits.
