Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a BIM/VDC Piping Project Lead to model systems, coordinate across projects, and deliver high-quality shop drawings that support fabrication and installation. You will work with the BIM/VDC Manager and Field Leadership to plan tasks within budget, apply expertise in mechanical/plumbing systems, and guide a team to ensure accurate, clash-free deliverables while advancing BIM processes.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking ability, up to 5% travel, and a commitment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in BIM MEP processes.
• Advanced building systems, code, fabrication, and installation knowledge.
• Advanced software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Fabrication, and Bluebeam) knowledge.
• Complete understanding of the BIM/VDC process.
• Ability to maintain patience and understanding in a stress-filled environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Reads specs and plan attack within BIM budget.
• Applies knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, code interpretation, and company best practices to produce installation and layout drawings.
• Collaborates with BIM/VDC Manager/Senior Project Lead to identify routing efficiencies.
• Communicates the established plan of execution to internal BIM/VDC team members and outsourcing partners.
• Quality control the product on your project(s) - whether drawn by you or another BIM resource.
• Master BIM/VDC processes, including clash detection and embedded data, and lead coordination efforts.
• Ensure BIM/VDC personnel adhere to departmental protocols.
• Oversee management of models and drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoots and solves issues associated with daily tasks.
• Strives for proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam.
• Work with leadership to schedule deliveries of Trimble drawings, shop drawings, BOMs, and as-built drawings.
• Participates in any training opportunities.
• Adheres to the departmental code of ethics and professional leadership.
