Job summary

A leading mechanical and plumbing contractor in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah is looking for a VDC / BIM Modeler. This role involves supporting mechanical piping and plumbing projects through accurate building models. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VDC and BIM environments, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and excellent problem-solving skills. Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and technically strong in BIM tools.
• Comfortable collaborating across disciplines.
• Strong understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate models with other trades for alignment.
• Perform clash detection and lead resolution efforts.
• Produce construction drawings and documentation.
• Support VDC workflows including constructability reviews.
• Assist with 4D scheduling and 5D modeling.
• Update models as designs evolve.
• Participate in coordination meetings.
• Support project managers with model-based insights.
• Help train team members on BIM tools and standards.

Skills

Experience working in VDC and BIM environments

Proficiency in Revit

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience with Navisworks

Experience with Bluebeam
