Job summary

BLHI is seeking a VDC Manager/Construction Technology Manager to lead BIM/VDC execution across projects. Ideal candidates will have a 4-year degree (or technical school equivalent) with 2–5 years of construction-related experience and strong BIM software proficiency.

The role requires coordinating BIM kickoff meetings, weekly project coordination, model upkeep, and clash resolution to ensure alignment with project goals. Travel to jobsites is possible.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in a relevant curriculum or tech school equivalent with VDC/BIM experience.
• Preferred 2-5 years construction related experience.
• BIM/VDC knowledge and coordination experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the VDC protocol for each assigned project.
• Detail the BIM Execution Plan with input from the project team.
• Develop a schedule for completing all VDC efforts that aligns with the overall project schedule.
• Lead BIM kickoff meetings and weekly coordination meetings.
• Identify and document clashes using clash detection software and drive resolutions.
• Maintain and distribute an up-to-date master model for accuracy.
• Ensure stakeholders understand the BIM process and their roles.
