Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a VDC Manager to lead VDC Engineers on constructability and coordination tasks across complex projects. This role is office-based with potential site travel to meet project teams and subcontractors.

The candidate will guide BIM standards, project coordination schedules, and resource planning, while fostering inclusive leadership and team development within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or related field.
• 5-7 years of VDC Coordination experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Senior VDC Manager and VDC Director in regional VDC strategic planning, training, software implementation, and BU goals.
• Develops VDC Baseline project-specific BIM standards and BEP.
• Leads VDC tasks and deliverables on multiple projects.
• Ensures staffing and forecasting of VDC resources.
• Builds relationships with project stakeholders to enable project success.
