Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in BIM/ VDC, Mechanical Engineering, or a construction-related program
• Interest in a career in the construction industry
• Basic knowledge of the building & construction industry
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and how they operate
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, or Navisworks (preferred)
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Gain on-the-job experience and knowledge of the construction process
• Provide a realistic preview of BIM/ VDC work and explore career opportunities within the Construction team
• Work with Technicians on setup and backgrounds, initial detailing/system modeling, coordination, and final detailing
• Gain exposure to other departments and understand how the role impacts the business
