Job summary

AECOM Hunt in Indianapolis is offering a BIM/VDC Intern position for Summer 2027. The role focuses on hands-on activities like drones, 3D printing, 360 photos, laser scanning, and creating 4D animations with Synchro.

You will build model content for pursuits and dashboards while shadowing MEP coordination on large projects. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fields, with exposure to BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Current pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field and at least 1 year of study completed.
• Interest in pursuing an advanced degree in same discipline.
• Recently graduated students are eligible if continuing with a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with drones, 3D printing, 360 photos, and laser scanning.
• Learn to create 4D animations using Synchro.
• Create model content for business development and project dashboards.
• Shadow MEP coordination meetings on mega-projects nationwide.
• Produce quality work while meeting schedules.
