Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a BIM/ VDC Intern to be based in Indianapolis, IN, working on the BIM / VDC Department project. This internship starts in Summer 2027 and provides hands-on experience with drones, 3D printing, 360 photos, laser scanning, and 4D animations using Synchro.

You will create visuals, support business development, and shadow MEP coordination on major projects. Qualified candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related fields with at least one year completed, and preferred

Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems and/or similar discipline and must have completed at least 1 year of study.

Responsibilities

Hands on experience with drones, 3D-printing, 360 photos, laser scanning.
Learn to create 4D animations using Synchro.
Create model content for business development pursuits to help win new work.
Create visuals and mine project data from multiple sources for project dashboards.
Shadow MEP coordination meetings on mega-projects across the country.
Performs tasks using standard techniques and guidelines under supervision.
Meet schedules while producing quality work.
Interns are assigned duties to provide broad, well‑rounded learning in their field.
