Job summary

TDIndustries is hiring for a Trade Coordination/Facilitation role focused on BIM coordination and field coordination for Texas and the Southwest. The candidate will manage multiple subcontractor models, run clash detection, and facilitate coordination meetings with Project Managers and superintendents.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s in a related field and have strong Autodesk software experience (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit). Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and Revit is required.
• Strong computer, technical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receives and manages multiple subcontractor models.
• Manages BIM logistics (Contracts, Emails, File sharing, etc.).
• Creates, maintains, and analyzes a federated model for coordination purposes.
• Reviews and documents design documents and coordination conflicts.
• Runs and analyzes clash detection on the federated model.
• Communicates conflicts in model to stakeholders.
• Prepares and distributes clash reports to facilitate coordination.
• Schedules and facilitates coordination meetings with Project Manager and/or Superintendent.
• Prepares meeting reports and documents best practices.
• Facilitates subcontractor communications in meetings.
• Facilitates sign off and submittal of coordinated areas.
• Meets with Designers/Owners to review models as needed.
• Assists the project team with construction coordination and scheduling.
• Provides field subcontractors with the most current coordinated information.
• Works with the field staff to understand their needs.
• Facilitates Foreman model review meetings.
• Performs other duties as required.
