Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled BIM/VDC Designer to create and maintain detailed 3D models for electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to develop coordinated models and installation drawings, resolving clashes and supporting construction through completion.

The ideal candidate has strong BIM software experience (Revit/Navisworks) and a solid track record in multi-trade coordination and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BIM/VDC Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency with BIM software, preferably Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience creating detailed 3D construction models.
• Understanding of clash detection and multi-trade coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems.
• Model conduit, cable tray, lighting, power distribution, and equipment.
• Participate in multi-trade coordination with MEPT teams.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design and installation conflicts.
• Produce installation drawings and shop drawings for field personnel.
• Support construction sequencing and visualization through BIM models.
