Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Coordinator / VDC Engineer for a Boise-based, hybrid role supporting large-scale advanced technology tool install projects. You will lead BIM/VDC coordination, manage clash detection, and align model-based workflows across trade partners, field teams, and client stakeholders.

Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, or mission critical projects is highly valued. Strong collaboration, meeting facilitation, and knowledge of Navisworks/Revit/BIM 360 are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years BIM/VDC coordination experience in advanced technology, semiconductor, cleanroom, or mission critical sectors.
• Experience with clash detection, issue tracking, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and constructability in a construction env.
• Proficiency in Navisworks, Revit, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD MEP.
• Experience with laser scanning, point cloud integration, and existing conditions validation is preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM execution planning, model governance, and digital project controls.
• Able to communicate with trade contractors, field teams, designers, and client representatives.
• Secondary education in Engineering/Architecture; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Authorized to work in the US; relocation/travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support BIM/VDC coordination across MEP and tool install scopes, focusing on routing integration and constructability.
• Coordinate between trade partners, field teams, designers, and client stakeholders to align model workflows and resolve conflicts.
• Facilitate and manage coordination meetings, agendas, minutes, and action items with closure follow-through.
• Oversee model coordination for piping, electrical, ductwork, and other systems to support installation planning.
• Manage clash detection workflows and ensure timely resolution of conflicts.
• Review and audit coordinated models for quality, completeness, and routing compliance.
• Coordinate inputs from tool install and basebuild teams for buildable routing plans.
• Incorporate field constructability feedback into coordination and detailing processes.
• Monitor field implementation against the coordinated model and capture lessons learned.
• Support teams with model-based solutions to improve installation efficiency and quality.
• Maintain BIM documentation, coordination logs, and reporting metrics.
