Job summary

The Bobbitt Group, a 100% employee-owned commercial and industrial general contractor serving the Carolinas, seeks a BIM Designer to support planning, design, and documentation using BIM tools. You will develop 3D models, create construction drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with codes and standards across project stages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in BIM design.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for templates and families.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ACC is a plus.
• Understanding of construction processes and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team to plan, design, and document construction projects using BIM.
• Create and maintain accurate 3D models for all project stages.
• Produce drawings in Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools across design stages.
• Develop clear construction documents for submittal and client review.
• Ensure models meet standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate data with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Review docs with internal and external teams to implement best practices.
• Improve Revit templates, plug-ins, and workflows with new releases.
• Track project progress in the online system and update templates accordingly.
