Job summary

The Bobbitt Group, a 100% employee-owned contractor in the Carolinas, seeks a BIM Lead to manage model coordination across projects. You will drive the BIM Execution Plan, coordinate multi-discipline models, and lead weekly coordination meetings with trade and design partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of BIM experience including at least 2 years leading model coordination on active construction projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience with ACC, Navisworks, BIM 360 or Revizto is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the BIM lead on assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout; liaise with PMs, superintendents, design partners, and trades.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) with agreed standards and file practices.
• Coordinate models from architectural, structural, MEP and trade partners into a single aligned project model.
• Run clash detection in ACC and track issues through resolution.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and document decisions and signoffs.
