Job summary

Bobbitt Construction, Inc. seeks a BIM Designer to support planning, design, and documentation for commercial and industrial projects. You will develop and maintain 3D BIM models, produce detailed drawings, and ensure accuracy across designs using Revit and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in BIM roles, strong knowledge of construction codes, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a traditional in-person setting at Cary, NC, with occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Associate's degree or technical degree in Architecture Technology, CAD, engineering, architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design team to support planning, design, and documentation of construction projects through BIM software.
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models for all stages of project development.
• Create and revise drawings and documentation in Revit, AutoCAD, and other 3D modeling tools for pricing and client review.
• Produce detailed drawings from BIM models and assist in design process with client-focused solutions.
• Develop clear and accurate construction documents for submittal.
