Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a BIM Technician I–II to join our team. You will draft, edit, and manage MEP CAD/BIM drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating with design teams to meet project deadlines.

The role requires strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and MEP workflows, plus the ability to read floor plans and elevations. We offer a supportive culture, flexible benefits, and a hybrid schedule with in-office Mon-Thu and remote Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school completion.
• Minimum 8 years CAD/BIM experience in an AEC firm, or 5 years in an MEP firm.
• Demonstrated advanced and efficient skills with Revit and MEP workflows.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MEP tools.
• Ability to read and understand floor plans, sections, and elevations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, draft, convert, produce and edit MEP plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare setup drawings, views, and CAD/BIM standards.
• Update 3D models in Revit and CAD files.
• Coordinate with project teams and external CAD/BIM coordinators.
• Manage project file locations and naming per standards.
• Assist with design markups and calculations.
