Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Designer to join the South Facilities Engineering and Design team in Dallas, TX. You will independently perform complex drafting assignments, using Revit to produce code-compliant drawings while collaborating with engineers and project teams.

With 4+ years in structural drafting, you will contribute to design concepts, project documentation, and mentoring staff, while helping maintain quality and schedule goals on healthcare, data centers, education, and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in structural drafting and/or design.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and other BIM/CAD tools.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural drawings and layouts using Revit.
• Research and apply design concepts to enhance project outcomes.
• Review drawings and maintain project documentation.
• Supervise and support less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with engineers and attend client meetings.
• Help improve drafting standards and team processes.
• Ensure projects meet quality and timeline goals.
