Job summary

Gigantes Group in New York is seeking an experienced Design Production Manager to own and optimize the drawing production function, leading CAD/BIM teams through a transition from AutoCAD to Revit.

You will balance hands-on production with leadership, develop templates and standards, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of construction documents across telecom, AV, and security projects. This role offers an opportunity to shape the department as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CAD/BIM, design or drawing-production experience.
• Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience leading CAD, BIM, Revit or design-production resources.
• Understanding of construction documentation and drawing standards.
• Experience developing templates, standards and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the existing CAD/BIM production team.
• Assign work, manage workloads and monitor drawing schedules.
• Review drawing packages for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Remain hands-on with drawing production and revisions when required.
• Develop and standardize templates, details, symbols and production procedures.
• Improve QA/QC processes across the department.
• Lead transition from AutoCAD to a Revit-first production environment.
• Coordinate with designers and project managers.
• Support production of layouts, RCPs, telecom room layouts, rack elevations and schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology.
• Support future hiring, onboarding and training as the team expands.
