Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in the United States seeks a BIM Specialist to support Design Consulting and Design Build projects for global and vertical customers. You will partner with Solution Architects and Project Designers within our Global Design Team to produce security installation drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, details, and schedules.

Responsibilities include developing information models in Revit, coordinating with customer-provided files, creating Revit families,

Qualifications

Minimum three years Revit experience required.
Minimum of three years experience in electronic security industry preferred.
Experience using Navisworks Manager.

Responsibilities

Develop the Information Model using Autodesk Revit.
Prepare security systems installation drawings from customer provided REVIT files to meet contract documentation requirements.
Create additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as needed.
Produce Project Deliverables from the Information Model (Models, Drawings).
Coordinate BIM models with customer changes for potential change order pricing.
Create and collect 2D drawings to insert in the BIM model.
Ensure all elements of the Information Model are fully coordinated.
Maintain organized project files, model versions, drawing records, and documentation.
Review drawings and models for accuracy and completeness.
Submit Information for BEP approvals.
Follow BIM execution plans and standards.
Run interference/clash detection to aid coordination.
Develop and maintain project models per company standards and client requirements.
Escalate coordination issues to lead designer.
Attend weekly meetings and provide updates.
Perform self-checking for clashes.
Attend Clash Coordination workshops.
