Job summary

Ares Technology Consultants, LLC in the United States seeks a BIM Designer to support planning, modeling, and coordination of low-voltage systems across mission-critical, commercial, and technology-focused projects. You will develop and maintain Revit models, create drawings, and support design deliverables while collaborating with project teams and external trades.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Experience with Revit software.
• Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary.
• Credentials as an RCDD or working towards this title (preferred).
• Electrical Engineering degree, or related discipline (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit models, families, drawings, and project documentation.
• Support the design and coordination of low-voltage technology systems, including telecommunications, security, access control, video surveillance, wireless, and other building technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality project solutions.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model reviews to ensure project accuracy and quality.
• Assist with the production of construction documents and design deliverables.
• Attend project meetings and support coordination with clients, contractors, and trade partners.
• Utilize Revit, Bluebeam, and other design tools to support project execution.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule commitments and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and design processes.
