EC Electric, Inc. is seeking a BIM Modeler 2 to support project delivery and standards. You will model in Revit, coordinate with trades, and assist with 3D object models and laser scans. Expect collaboration with the EC Project team and visibility into field layouts.

The role emphasizes Revit proficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to EC standards while supporting document control and drawings production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Prior design/build experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and write contracts.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and estimating software (Accubida plus).
• Excellent people, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit per EC standards.
• Set up Revit views for EC Project team and manage electronic drawings/files.
• Prepare copies and assemble document sets for transmittal.
• Download drawings/info from Web, SharePoint or project sites.
• Document and archive work per EC standards.
• Create Revit work sets and manage work-sharing processes.
• Coordinate 3D model with other trades and field supervision for layouts.
• Lead EC teams or collaborate with vendors to laser scan existing structures.
