Job summary

ACS is seeking a BIM Specialist to lead 3D modeling and BIM execution across architecture, engineering and construction. You will build Revit content, maintain VDC/BIM standards, and train internal teams to ensure accurate, constructible models throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to coordinate BIMs, perform QA/QC, and generate quantity takeoffs. A hybrid ACS work model, travel as needed, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in CAD drafting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or architectural design or commensurate experience.
• 2+ years of Industrial Systems design experience in a consulting engineering firm or design/build contractor.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM software.
• Proficiency in creating Revit content and optimizing BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build Revit content (families) for ACS in-house design and constructability modeling.
• Develop and maintain company VDC/BIM standards and processes.
• Provide Revit application training for ACS in-house design teams.
• Develop and coordinate BIMs for preconstruction and construction.
• Collaborate with design professionals for QA/QC of BIMs.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and on-site 3D scanning workflows.
• Use 3D scans to register into Revit models and support model accuracy.
• Support scheduling improvements via visual scheduling and model updates when as-built conditions change.
• Develop new BIM uses and expand VDC/BIM scope across projects.
