Job summary

Electrical Corporation of America (ECA) is seeking a BIM Modeler to support construction projects by developing accurate 2D and 3D models for coordination, fabrication, installation, and field layout. This full-time, office-based role collaborates with project managers, field teams, designers, and trade partners to maintain high-quality BIM in line with BEP and company standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of 2D/3D modeling experience and proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and

Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of professional 2D and/or 3D modeling experience preferred.
Experience using Autodesk software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar modeling platforms.
Ability to interpret project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and apply modeling standards to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up Revit central models to project specifications and requirements.
Model electrical components with accurate dimensions, orientation and elevation.
Create assembly documentation from the model for manufacturing.
Create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D installation documentation.
Place Autodesk Point Layout (APL) points within the model and export data for field implementation.
Maintain a clash-free modeling environment.
Understand BEP and contractual modeling requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Provide input into task assignments and project tracking.
