Job summary

Prime Data Centers in Lockhart, Texas is seeking a Manager, Building Information Modeling (BIM) to own model development for tenant fit-outs and lead multidisciplinary coordination across electrical, mechanical, and structural models.

You will mentor BIM technicians, establish standards, and drive clash detection with general contractors. A strong background in data center construction and Revit/Navisworks proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of BIM management experience, ideally within data center or mission-critical construction.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and clash detection tools (Navisworks).
• Experience developing BIM execution plans and modeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Own BIM strategy and model development for tenant fit-out projects, including white space layouts, rack elevations, and cable tray/pathway routing.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration across Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, and Base Build models.
• Manage and mentor a team of BIM technicians/modelers; establish modeling standards, templates, and level-of-development (LOD) requirements for TFO.
• Lead clash detection and coordination sessions with general contractors and trade partners.
• Support field teams with as-built model updates during and after construction.
• Maintain the TFO BIM execution plan and standards library.
• Partner with Technical Engineering and Pre-Construction to flag design conflicts early.
