Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM/VDC efforts across a portfolio of hyperscale data center projects in the U.S. and Canada.

This role serves as the primary BIM lead, overseeing MEP model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and field execution support for mission-critical projects. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to active project sites. The role includes building and managing a growing team of BIM Coordinators and ensuring BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years BIM/VDC experience on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with MEP coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM/VDC strategy and coordination across multiple data center projects.
• Perform MEP model reviews, clash detection, constructability analysis, and coordination using models from engineers, vendors, and trade partners.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and drive issue resolution between project stakeholders.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support prefabrication and modular construction initiatives to improve project delivery.
• Partner with project teams to align BIM execution with schedule and construction objectives.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a distributed BIM coordination team as the organization grows.

BIM Manager (Remote | Must be located in Shreveport, LA or Houston, TX)

Seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM/VDC efforts across a portfolio of hyperscale data center projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. This role will serve as the primary BIM lead, overseeing MEP model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and field execution support for mission‑critical projects.

This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to active project sites. In addition to supporting ongoing projects, this individual will help build and manage a growing team of BIM Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MEP model reviews, clash detection, constructability analysis, and coordination using models from engineers, vendors, and trade partners.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and drive issue resolution between project stakeholders.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support prefabrication and modular construction initiatives to improve project delivery.
• Partner with project teams to align BIM execution with schedule and construction objectives.

• Knowledge of prefabrication, modular construction, and field execution is highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without sponsorship.
