Job summary

ROSS Consultancy USA seeks a VDC/BIM Manager to lead digital construction delivery on a hyperscale data center project in the United States.

You will manage a VDC/BIM team, enforce the BIM Execution Plan, coordinate MEP, structural and civil trades, and apply LiDAR/ drone reality capture to ensure clash-free handover.

Qualifications

• Hands-on VDC/BIM coordination on large industrial projects.
• Expert-level use of Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms.
• Data center, semiconductor or cleanroom project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and enforce BIM Execution Plan aligned with client and contractor standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary 3D coordination with MEP, structural and civil teams.
• Run a model QC process to ensure accuracy and constructability before fabrication.
• Deploy reality capture on site (LiDAR, drones) for as-built validation.
• Link models to schedule to produce 4D sequencing for logistics and lifting.
• Mentor and develop the VDC/BIM team on site.

Job description

ROSS Consultancy USA is hiring a VDC / BIM Manager to lead digital construction delivery on a major hyperscale data center project.

You’ll be the lead authority on model quality, multi-trade coordination and digital twin handover. You’ll also run a team of VDC/BIM engineers through MEPTF coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecom and fire, making sure installations are clash-free before anything goes to fabrication.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and enforcing the project BIM Execution Plan in line with client requirements and contractor standards
• Leading multidisciplinary 3D coordination with MEP, structural and civil subcontractors to resolve the tight space constraints that come with data center layouts
• Running a structured model QC process to confirm accuracy, data integrity and constructability before components move to prefabrication
• Deploying reality capture and field technology on site, including LiDAR scanning for as-built validation, robotic total stations and drones
• Linking models to the project schedule to produce 4D sequencing for logistics, material staging and heavy lift planning
• Managing, mentoring and developing the site VDC/BIM team

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related technical discipline
• 3 to 7+ years of hands-on VDC/BIM coordination, including large industrial projects. Data center, semiconductor or cleanroom experience is strongly preferred
• Expert-level Revit, Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
• Synchro 4D and Leica or Faro scanning software would be a big plus
• Solid understanding of heavy MEP systems, spatial tolerances, prefab workflows and construction sequencing
