Job summary

TYLin, a global infrastructure firm, seeks a BIM Lead for its Water Sector team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on setting up BIM360 projects, coordinating across disciplines, and conducting clash detection to advance water/wastewater plant projects from concept to detail design.

Candidates should hold a Civil/Mechanical engineering degree or diploma with 8+ years in water/wastewater projects, and be proficient in BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering/engineering technology or closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in execution of water/wastewater infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage projects in BIM360 including plant layouts and division into disciplines.
• Manage BIM coordination across project teams and other disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and issue tracking to resolve design conflicts.
• Layout and design of vertical water/wastewater infrastructure from conceptual to detailed design.
