Job summary

TYLin is seeking a BIM Designer for its Water Sector team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on setting up BIM360 projects, coordinating across disciplines, and designing vertical water and wastewater facilities from concept to detail.

Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in water/wastewater projects, proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks, and a collaborative, client-first mindset. The position offers hybrid work and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering/engineering technology or closely related field.
• CET with OACETT preferred.
• 2–4+ years of experience on water/wastewater infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks.
• Client-focused, strives to deliver best client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage projects in BIM360 including plant layouts and division into engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate BIM across project teams and other disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and issue tracking to resolve design conflicts.
• Layout and design vertical water/wastewater infrastructure from conceptual to detailed design.
