Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Montgomery, AL is seeking a BIM Engineer at an entry level to join the VDC team on on-site projects. You will support model management, VDC initiatives, and coordination between design, engineering, and field teams.

You'll work with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, assist in model development, and participate in coordination efforts across architectural, structural, and MEP trades on mission critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering is required.
• Familiarity with BIM workflow and VDC concepts.
• Experience with Autodesk software and coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in model management and VDC coordination for projects.
• Support development of BIM execution plans and strategies.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and trades for model integrity.
• Participate in on-site activities and safety processes.
• Assist in preparing models for lift drawings and AR/VR integration.
