Job summary

Rogers Electric in Alpharetta, GA seeks a BIM Designer to translate electrical systems into constructible 2D/3D models using Revit and AutoCAD. You will produce construction documents, coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team, and help minimize clashes and design errors in field deployment.

This role requires an associate or bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field and at least 2 years of design experience, with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk tools, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Two years of electrical design experience in consulting or construction.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk products, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Strong reading and interpretation of electrical drawings and specs.
• Ability to communicate professionally and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D/3D models of electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and layouts.
• Coordinate with design professionals and build team to prevent design-related errors.
• Develop detailed installation drawings to assist field electricians.
• Create Prefab Drawings, Details and BOMs for Fabrication.
• Perform surveying to document existing conditions.
• Perform lighting and power design and load calculations.
• Organize construction drawings and respond to admin items.
