Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a skilled BIM Designer to own the federated electrical model, coordinate multi-discipline interfaces, and drive fabrication-ready releases. You will work closely with electrical, structural, and civil designers to ensure a single source of truth from concept through field support.

Ideal candidates bring advanced Revit/Navisworks experience, strong NEC/NFPA knowledge, and a track record of running coordination processes with cadence and accountability in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional BIM modeling experience coordinating federated models.
• Ownership of multi-discipline coordination and BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain federated Revit and Navisworks models for electrical scope.
• Model to development levels from concept to fabrication-ready.
• Coordinate clash tests and publish reports on a fixed cadence.
• Enforce BIM standards: templates, worksets, parameters, naming.
• Develop parametric family libraries for repeat equipment.
• Produce coordination drawings and model-derived quantity takeoffs.
• Maintain model health and manage file size with scale.
