Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Drafter/Architectural Designer to join a forward-thinking construction team in the United States. You will advance BIM capabilities across large-scale projects, integrating digital workflows with real-world construction and fabrication practices, while supporting career progression and ESOP opportunities.

The role requires 2-5+ years in BIM or 3D modelling, strong Revit skills, and experience with Navisworks, Rhino/Grasshopper, Inventor, SolidWorks, or CAM

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in BIM, digital construction, or 3D modelling within construction or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, with additional experience in Navisworks, Rhino/Grasshopper, Inventor, SolidWorks, or CAM tools desirable.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Technology, or related field with understanding of parametric design and construction processes.
• Innovative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to drive adoption of new digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support coordination and delivery across major construction projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate BIM workflows and improve project execution.
• Support digital fabrication and model-to-production alignment, applying knowledge of tolerances and sequencing.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement, including coordination, clash detection, and model validation using tools like Navisworks.
