Job summary

AEC Resources in Minneapolis is seeking an Architectural BIM Technician / BIM Coordinator to support large-scale national projects.

You’ll coordinate Revit models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines, perform clash detection, and participate in BIM coordination meetings while benefiting from ESOP, 401(k) with an employer match, comprehensive health and insurance, paid time off, and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Strong Revit skills with architectural design understanding.
• Experience with clash detection and BIM model coordination.
• Understanding of building systems and how architectural and engineering disciplines interact.
• Ability to evaluate design conflicts and coordinate solutions.
• Strong communication skills and leading coordination discussions.
• Experience with large commercial buildings, campuses, or ground-up construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Revit models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, evaluate conflicts, and help facilitate solutions.
• Participate in weekly BIM coordination meetings and track the resolution of design issues.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers throughout the design process.
• Support Revit modeling and documentation from schematic design through construction documents.
• Contribute to large-scale, national, new-construction projects.
