Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects Inc. is seeking a Senior BIM Project Specialist in Atlanta to lead structural BIM modeling and coordination using Revit.

You will translate concepts into accurate models, develop drawings, and ensure clash-free coordination with architectural and MEP models. You will mentor junior staff, enforce BIM standards, and contribute to the quality and efficiency of projects across design development and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree or certificate in Drafting, BIM, Civil/Structural Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a structural drafting or BIM role.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar coordination tools.
• Knowledge of BIM execution plans, model coordination workflows, and LOD requirements.
• Exposure to construction documents for commercial and/or industrial projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor others on BIM/VDC processes related to structural.
• Has a proactive approach to projects and problem solving and can self-direct project work, tasks, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and revise structural BIM models in Autodesk Revit for a variety of project types.
• Produce structural drawings, details, and schedules in support of design and construction documentation.
• Assist structural engineers with model setup, modeling standards, and drawing production.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, and other discipline models to identify and resolve clashes.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and respond to coordination issues.
• Implement and adhere to company BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Assist with model quality control to ensure accuracy, consistency, and constructability.
• Support project teams during design development, permitting, and construction phases as needed.
• Support and provide mentorship to less experienced structural team members.
