Job summary

HDR is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our Building Engineering Services Group. In this role you’ll support discipline modeling under supervision, develop discipline models, and produce digital delivery output using current 3D design software.

You’ll maintain models, prepare drawings, and produce documentation with annotations while collaborating with Architects and Engineers across Minnesota and Wisconsin locations.

Qualifications

• Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Competency with Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work for a specific discipline under supervision of Architect/Engineer or other technical professional.
• Assist in the development of the discipline model and digital delivery output.
• Accurately model BIM elements in the current design environment.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, and diagrams using the current 3D software.
• Maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales and views.
• Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations.
