Job summary

HDR in Minnesota is seeking a Structural BIM Coordinator to lead discipline modeling, data delivery, and 3D coordination. You will create and maintain the discipline model, align with the Digital Delivery Plan, and produce detailed drawings using the latest 3D software.

Under supervision of Architects/Engineers, you will collaborate in design reviews, ensure model health, and coordinate with other disciplines to deliver accurate BIM for complex projects in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 3 years related industry experience.
• Proficient with 3D design software and document management systems.
• Strong communication, detail-orientation and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Model and maintain discipline BIM elements per LOD in the Digital Delivery Plan.
• Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and digital delivery output.
• Coordinate the design with other discipline models and participate in Design Reviews.
• Prepare detailed drawings and diagrams using current 3D software.
• Maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.
• Assist or execute any additional Digital Delivery requirements identified on the project.
