Job summary

Interstates seeks a BIM Coordinator to integrate BIM processes across electrical and automation projects. You will coordinate modeling efforts, ensure accurate electrical representation in the 3D model, and collaborate with project teams and clients to resolve issues.

You’ll create and manage 3D BIM models using Revit and Navisworks, perform clash detection, and generate reports. Travel up to 15% may be required. Compensation ranges from $61,800 to $78,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates in electrical construction, design, architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of BIM coordination or related experience in construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or Bentley.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or similar tools.
• Manipulate BIM model families for updates and improvements.
• Load incoming models into projects and ensure model health and standards.
• Coordinate BIM models with project teams and clients, resolving conflicts.
• Participate in clash detection to minimize construction conflicts.
• Generate BIM reports and outputs (Navisworks files, clash reports, progress updates).
• Stay informed about emerging BIM technologies and potential adoption.
