Job summary

Interstates is hiring a BIM Coordinator to integrate Building Information Modeling processes into projects across our electrical and OT work. You will coordinate BIM activities, facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, and ensure accurate representation of electrical systems within the digital model for design, construction, and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years in BIM coordination, and proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, or Bentley

Qualifications

• Associates in electrical construction, design, architecture, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of BIM coordination or related construction industry experience.
• Proficiency in BIM software: Revit, Navisworks, or Bentley applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D BIM models using BIM software under supervision.
• Modify and update BIM model families for improvements.
• Load incoming models into Revit projects with supervision.
• Ensure model health, proper storage, and user access.
• Coordinate BIM models with project teams and clients, resolving issues.
• Perform clash detection analysis to minimize conflicts before construction.
• Generate BIM reports and outputs (Navisworks, clash reports, progress updates).
