Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to support a large-scale, hyper-scale manufacturing project in Boise, Idaho. You will be the technical BIM resource in the field, coordinating models, running clash detection with Navisworks, maintaining BIM standards, and ensuring model information supports field installation.

You will work closely with construction, engineering, design, and trades to resolve issues and keep BIM documentation organized for the duration of construction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM or VDC coordination experience.
• Expert-level Navisworks experience, including clash detection reports.
• Experience on large industrial or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary model management.

Responsibilities

This position will serve as a technical BIM resource for the field team, helping coordinate construction models, identify clashes, maintain BIM standards, and ensure model information accurately supports field installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical BIM/VDC resource within the field office.
• Set up and maintain project BIM standards, models, and model libraries.
• Coordinate BIM models across multiple construction disciplines and trades.
• Use Navisworks to perform clash detection and generate clash reports.
• Lead or support clash coordination and resolution efforts with project teams.
• Coordinate and manage model families throughout the project.
• Review models to ensure construction geometry is accurate and clearly communicated to field crews.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, design, and trade partners to resolve coordination issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate BIM documentation throughout construction.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM or VDC coordination experience within construction, architecture, engineering, or the broader AEC industry.
• Expert-level Navisworks experience, including setting up and running clash detection reports.
• Previous experience supporting large industrial or complex construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction coordination and multidisciplinary model management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Newforma Konekt, or similar BIM/VDC platforms.
• Previous experience supporting large-scale advanced manufacturing or mission-critical construction projects.
