Job summary

Hansen Consulting Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support coordination, integration, and execution of BIM workflows across complex construction projects. You will bridge digital design and field execution, aiding constructability and information management.

The role requires 3+ years in BIM coordination, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and ACC, and familiarity with BEPs and CDEs. Indiana pay range is provided, and collaboration spans design to field teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, VDC, construction modeling, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and performing clash detection and resolution.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, MEP systems, building systems, and installation sequencing.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, model coordination standards, and Common Data Environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other project disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, identify coordination conflicts, and facilitate resolution with design and construction teams.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of BEPs, modeling standards, and coordination workflows.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, document issues, assign action items, and track resolutions through completion.
• Review models for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with prefabrication and construction teams to ensure models support fabrication, installation sequencing, and field execution.
• Maintain model organization, version control, and document management within the project's CDE.
• Support model-based quantity takeoffs, installation planning, and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) activities.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to integrate reality capture, field verification, and as-built information into BIM models.
• Monitor BIM deliverables, coordination milestones, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline digital project workflows.
