Job summary

TG Gallagher is seeking a mid-level BIM Coordinator to lead BIM coordination and clash resolution for complex projects in the New England region. You will develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models during preconstruction and construction with oversight from senior staff, and adapt to frequent project changes.

You will review contract documents, coordinate with the Project Management team, and conduct clash detection while ensuring drawings meet code and field needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in BIM coordination or related field.
• Proficient in BIM coordination practices and processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models for projects during preconstruction and construction.
• Review contract documents and coordinate with Project Management to resolve issues.
• Attend coordination and project meetings and provide status updates.
• Draw systems to specification and code requirements; support RFI submissions.
• Run clash detection, document clashes, and track through clash reports.
• Review Revit models and implement requested changes.
• Produce detailed drawings per SOPs for field use.
• Communicate effectively with Project Management and other coordinators.
• Update Manufacton and upload to Procore when ready for fabrication.
• Manage BIM execution and development of coordination drawings.
• Optimize layouts of piping systems during modeling.
• Work with PM team to develop coordination schedule and flag issues.
• Provide field support and answer layout questions with foremen.
• Identify maintenance zones and ensure hangers are coordinated with trades.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and team members.
