Job summary

HDR is seeking a Digital Design Specialist to contribute to BIM modeling and digital delivery for a specific discipline. You will generate BIM elements, manage the discipline model, and coordinate with other disciplines during design reviews.

The role requires a technical degree or 3 years of related experience, proficiency in 3D design software, and strong communication and organizational skills. Local candidates preferred for Charleston, WV-based work.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 3 years related industry experience.
• Proficiency with 3D design software and document management systems.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
• Experience with 3D coordination tools.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

• Model the discipline elements per the Level of Development (LOD) and Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Create and maintain the discipline model, systems and digital output.
• Coordinate with other discipline models during design reviews and 3D coordination.
• Produce discipline-specific drawings, annotations and documentation.
• Maintain model health and adhere to company standards.
