Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Billing Technician at our Westpark office in Provo, Utah. The role supports accurate billing, claims processing, and reimbursement to ensure quality behavioral health care.

You will create and maintain client financial charts, submit Medicaid/Medicare and private claims, verify codes, and respond to payer inquiries in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A detail-oriented mindset and 2 years of clerical or billing experience help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of clerical, secretarial, billing, or accounting experience.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Experience with third-party payer systems preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
