Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient financial services or healthcare billing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work tactfully with patients, staff, and interdepartmental customers.
• Proficient in supervising billing and collection processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day work of the insurance billing team(s).
• Ensure accurate, timely billing processes for patient accounts.
• Supervise billing staff and ensure compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with manager and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
• Maintain efficient operational workflow for day-to-day insurance accounts receivable management.
• Oversee billing operations, training and development, problem resolution, and escalation.
• Review key billing reports and monitor performance.
