Job summary

Capistrano Volkswagen in San Juan Capistrano is seeking skilled automotive technicians to join our busy shop. You will perform repairs, test drives, and diagnostics with modern equipment, delivering quality service on a variety of VW models.

We offer an hourly pay scale of 33.00–45.00+ with bonuses, plus relocation support for toolbox, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Pay Scale:Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between$33.00 -$45.00+ plus production bonuses and aggressive spiff program and based on level of experience.
