What You’ll Do

As a Billing Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in managing insurance claims and ensuring reimbursement processes run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies accurately and on time.
• Monitoring claims for denials, rejections, and underpayments.
• Following up with insurance payers to resolve outstanding or denied claims.
• Working closely with AR and Payment Posting teams to ensure account accuracy.
• Communicating with families as needed to clarify billing questions.

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of billing experience in a healthcare or ABA setting.
• Experience with CentralReach is a plus (but not required—we’re happy to train!).
• Strong knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, and insurance payer requirements.
• Familiarity with clearinghouses and EDI submissions.
• Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail.
