Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is hiring for a Billing Specialist to join our onsite team in Hilo, HI. The role focuses on accounts receivable research, delinquent accounts review, and creating repayment plans with customers. You will handle inbound calls as needed and collaborate with sales to manage client accounts.

The position is full-time onsite, Monday through Friday, with hours TBD. A high school diploma or GED and strong typing (35 wpm) and 10-key skills are required, along with

Qualifications

• Typing speed (min 35 wpm) and 10 key proficiency.
• Professional phone etiquette and disposition for client support.
• Ability to work with minimal direction and seek guidance as needed.
• Confidentiality and accurate record-keeping required.
• Proficient with computer technology and basic terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer/client account research and review delinquent accounts.
• Establish mutually agreeable repayment plans per Accounts Receivable guidelines.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls; initiate contact about account status.
• Coordinate with local Sales on client accounts and monitor delinquent accounts.
• Refer seriously delinquent accounts to Administrative leadership as needed.
• Work on other projects as assigned.
