Job summary

Laredo BSL Inc. is hiring a Billing Specialist in Laredo, Texas, to prepare and review invoices for import/export operations and support accounting with financial reporting and reconciliations.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and solid knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Billing or Invoicing; entry-level candidates with accounting education encouraged.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Basic understanding of import/export terms and logistics processes.
• Intermediate English (reading and writing).
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely invoices for import/export activities.
• Review supporting documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists) for billing accuracy.
• Record and maintain accounting transactions in QuickBooks.
• Generate weekly and monthly billing reports, adjustments, and A/R summaries.
• Communicate with clients to resolve billing questions or discrepancies.
• Support accounting and operations with administrative tasks.
• Maintain well-organized electronic billing records in line with company policies.
